About Us:

Brad’s Service Center is a trusted, full-service automotive repair facility in Chicopee, MA. Known for our commitment to quality and customer care, we’re expanding our services to include professional automotive detailing. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Automotive Detailer who is looking to grow their business to partner with us as an independent contractor.

Position Overview:

As a contracted Automotive Detailer, you'll operate your own detailing business within our facility, benefiting from a steady flow of customers and a dedicated workspace. We envision that this might be a couple days of week at first, but the hope is to build our book of business for detailing from existing customers (a recent customer survey indicated customer interest in this offering). You’ll be responsible for providing high-quality detailing services using your own tools, equipment, and supplies. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated professional looking to grow their business with the support of an established shop.

What You Provide:

• Your own detailing tools, equipment, and materials
• High standards of workmanship and customer service
• Professionalism and reliability
• Ability to perform a range of detailing services, including but not limited to:
• Exterior washes, waxing, and polishing
• Interior vacuuming, shampooing, and conditioning
• Engine bay cleaning
• Paint correction and ceramic coatings (preferred but not required)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automotive detailing
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduling
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Willingness to comply with Brad’s Service Center policies and customer service standards

Compensation:

This is a 1099 contractor role. You will set rates in coordination with our service team and share in earnings with our shop. Details to be discussed during the interview.

Brad's Service Center is now employee owned! We've been operating in Chicopee since the 1980s, and we pride ourselves on providing the best customer service possible at our high volume, high pace shop.
