JOB OVERVIEW

As a B2B Foodservice Sales Representative specializing in açai sorbet, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our client base in the foodservice industry. Your focus will be on selling our premium açai sorbet products to restaurants, coffee shops, and franchises through both last-mile delivery in the state of Texas and wholesale distribution channels at a national level.

Important Note: This position is currently listed as a part-time position, as it will be such for the initial 3 months from start date (late January). If the approved candidate's performance is satisfactory this position will automatically be converted to a full-time position then (late April). Please consider base salary for the full-time position double what is listed for the part-time. Sales commission will be added on top of that.

 

SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the foodservice industry

· Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for açai sorbet products

· Conduct outbound cold calls and emails to generate new leads

· Schedule and attend in person meetings in the state of Texas

 

PRODUCT PRESENTATION AND EDUCATION

· Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients

· Maintain a thorough understanding of our açai sorbet product line, including nutritional information, flavor profiles, and unique selling points

· Educate clients on the benefits of açai and its growing popularity in the foodservice industry

 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

· Manage an assigned group of accounts, handling service issues, new product needs, and business reviews

· Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction

· Process orders and ensure timely delivery through both last-mile and wholesale channels

 

MARKET ANALYSIS AND STRATEGY

· Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities

· Provide feedback to management on market conditions and client needs

· Develop and implement effective sales strategies for both last-mile and wholesale models

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system

· Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts

· Negotiate contracts and close deals with foodservice clients

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the food industry

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

· Strong understanding of the foodservice industry and its unique challenges

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite

· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

· Experience in selling açai sorbet, açai berry derived products or similar products to foodservice clients

· Knowledge of last-mile delivery logistics and wholesale distribution models
