Barista Position

The Barista creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Greet and connect with each customer. Welcome questions and seek opportunities to educate on our products
2. Suggestively sell gift cards, complimentary/additional products, and merchandise
3. Solicit order, enter sale, and process payment in a timely and friendly fashion
4. Manage cash drawer by following established cash handling procedures
5. Serve all customer orders according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines
6. Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drink upon delivery
7. Operate and maintain cleanliness of all store equipment and work environment
8. Optimize workflow efficiency by restocking workstations, food, supplies, and merchandise

Qualifications

• No previous experience necessary
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a positive attitude while maintaining a guest focused mentality.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Energetic, fast-paced, flexible work style
• Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, and handle multiple duties
• Ability to raise, lower and carry objects up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout a day
• Dependability (Regular and predictable attendance)
