MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Consistently meets or exceeds sales, customer service and operational expectations in their store location as communicated by store management.
Demonstrates proficiency in identifying opportunities to generate sales and create the ideal customer experience.
Consistently delivers solutions by providing support and education on all Spectrum products and services.
Skillfully retains customers through positive customer relationship building, diffuses customer situations by utilizing effective listening skills and probing techniques and identifies reasons for disconnects and overcomes objections.
Identifies ways to save and re-sell the value of our products and services by properly aligning our product features, benefits and price with the needs of our customers and effectively transitions to upgrading the customer with additional products and services.
Maintains effective knowledge of the Spectrum Store Customer Experience (SSCE), all Spectrum products, pricing plans, promotions, service features and visual standards as well as those of our competitors.
Exhibits subject matter expertise in utilizing all store wireless and cable technologies and systems, including queueing and billing.
Minimizes and eliminates product losses to the company.
Maintains store appearance and provides a consistently professional and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Delivers a clean, organized and fully operational retail experience for all customers and employees.
Communicates effectively with other departments following established protocols.
Consistently demonstrates adherence to all the Company policies and procedures and lives the Spectrum mission and core values, while maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.
Responds to and resolves complex customer issues according to established Company policies and escalates to Store management as necessary.
Provides management with frequent updates on key events in their store location.
Actively participates in company and department on-line or in-person training programs and demonstrates the associated skills and competencies.
Performs other duties as requested by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Familiarity with working in a goal- and incentive-based work environment
Works well in a fast-paced team environment
Demonstrated proficiency of cash handling procedures
Accurately handle payment transactions
Ability to communicate with employees and customers in person, on the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward and professional manner
Ability to build partnerships within all areas of the organization by exhibiting highly effective interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively
Possess a self-motivated, competitive spirit and desire to exceed sales goals
Carry a positive and professional demeanor

High comfort level with personal technology, such as mobile devices and personal video platforms
Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications
Basic math skills
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Sales/Customer Service experience - 1+

WORKING CONDITIONS
Retail environment
Exposure to moderate noise level
Ability to work a flexible work schedule which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
Regular attendance is essential to this position
Travel to multiple work locations as needed
Handle a physically demanding job, lifting up to 35 lbs.
