We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Continuity Analyst to join our team at Two Harbors Investment Corp. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive business continuity plans and strategies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring our Business Continuity plans and procedures are current, and coordinating recovery and testing efforts. Additionally, you will act as backup support for our onsite building engineer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of responsibility, accountability, and confidentiality, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with key personnel to maintain an up-to-date business continuity program, including policies, procedures, and plans, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
2. Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to operations, systems, and infrastructure.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans for critical functions and systems.
4. Coordinate and facilitate training and awareness programs to enhance organizational preparedness and response capabilities.
5. Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to business continuity, and recommend enhancements to the program.
6. Serve as a primary contact for stakeholders during crises, providing guidance and support.
7. Assist in incident response and recovery efforts to minimize operational and reputational impacts.
8. Coordinate information for audits, external assessments, and regulatory exams.
9. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to Executive Leadership regarding the business continuity program.
10. Develop a solid understanding of TWO and RoundPoint structures, service lines, key personnel, and policies.
11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
12. Act as backup support for the onsite building engineer, troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
13. Maintain standards of conduct, hygiene, and building appearance.
14. Partner with the IT department for new hire setups, equipment inventory, and shipments.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in business administration, risk management, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in business continuity management, disaster recovery, or related fields, with a proven success record.
3. Proficiency with business continuity management software, specifically ResilienceONE.
4. Experience conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses.
5. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
6. Exceptional time management, organizational, and resource management skills.
7. Strong presentation and reporting skills, capable of communicating complex concepts effectively.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strategic and tactical thinking abilities.
9. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
10. Strong decision-making skills, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
11. Ability to adapt quickly and develop innovative solutions for business continuity.
12. Basic understanding of plumbing, piping, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
