Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Closing Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of a Credit Services team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, regulatory compliance knowledge, and commercial lending expertise to ensure efficient and accurate loan processing, documentation, and closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Credit Services team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee preparation, review, and finalization of commercial loan documents for C&I, CRE, and SBA transactions.
• Review title policies, collateral evaluations, and vendor documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and third-party vendors to facilitate loan closings.
• Ensure compliance with OCC, federal, and state lending regulations, maintaining robust internal controls and audit readiness.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance against metrics for speed, quality, and customer service; identify and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate and support audit requests, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial loan processing, documentation, or closing (experience with legal documentation preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with attention to detail.
