Solana Motors, a leading Chevrolet and GMC dealership, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be ASE Certified (or GM Master Certified) with advanced diagnostic and repair skills in both diesel and gasoline engines . You will be responsible for performing complex vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure top performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines , including Duramax and GM gas powertrains.
• Perform advanced electrical, mechanical, and drivability diagnostics using factory-approved tools and software (GDS2, MDI, Techline Connect, etc.).
• Conduct warranty and non-warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and multi-point inspections to GM specifications.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding vehicle needs and recommended repairs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GM service bulletins, recalls, and repair procedures.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• GM Master Technician Certification (preferred) or equivalent ASE Master Certification.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician, with emphasis on diesel and gas powertrains.
• Strong understanding of GM diagnostic systems and repair processes.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
