Club Z! Tutoring Services is a leading provider of private in-home tutoring services. Our mission is to offer personalized academic support and strategic advice to help students improve their grades, test scores, and self-esteem. We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team, combining educational consulting expertise with sales skills to enroll families into our tutoring programs.

Job Overview:
As our Educational Consultant, you will work with prospective families and clients to understand their learning goals, recommend Club Z! programs and enroll in our services. You will also support marketing efforts to promote Club Z! in our community. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the education, sales and who is passionate about education and helping individuals reach their full learning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Enrollment
  • Contact and communicate with inquiring families and other prospective clients to discuss and understand their learning goals.
  • Explain the benefits of our services and recommend tutoring programs as appropriate.
  • Help clients complete the enrollment process by completing enrollment contracts, collecting enrollment fees and setting up recurring payments.
  • Maintain a high enrollment success rate (target of 80% sign-up ratio).
• Educational Consulting
  • Assess students' academic history, learning styles, and goals to provide tailored academic recommendations.
  • Provide advice on program placement and assist with tutor matching process.
  • Guide families through Club Z! program expectations.
  • Upon enrollment, act as a liaison between families and schools, advocating for students' academic needs.
• Marketing and Support
  • Visit schools in your assigned territory to distribute educational material about Club Z! programs and services.
  • Participate in community events to promote Club Z! Tutoring Services as needed.
  • Maintain database of contacts in your assigned territory within our customer relationship management software.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent technology skills required. Must be comfortable utilizing spreadsheet, email, virtual meeting and other software.
• Familiarity with the education industry and standardized tests (SAT, ACT).
• Minimum of an Associate degree required. Bachelors, or Masters, degree in education, academic counseling, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in academic consulting or tutoring or teaching is required.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a passion for helping students succeed.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Compensation:

• Hourly Base + Bonus: Hourly wage plus a bonus commission for every client successfully enrolled in service.
