Job Overview
The EHS Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs across company operations.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a 4-year degree in an EHS or engineering-related field
• Brings 5+ years of experience in EHS program management
• Has working knowledge of Cal/OSHA and CalEPA regulations
• Demonstrates emotional intelligence and influence as a safety advocate
• Holds or is pursuing EHS certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred)
• Is familiar with manufacturing environments and environmental compliance best practices
• Can interpret, apply, and communicate regulatory standards effectively
• Is able to travel locally up to 10%

What you'll do:

• Support EHS programs across multiple site locations, ensuring consistent standards and compliance
• Champion safety programs and support leadership in driving a zero-injury culture
• Maintain all environmental permits and ensure timely report submissions
• Manage hazardous waste handling, labeling, disposal, and related recordkeeping
• Oversee permit compliance for wastewater, stormwater, air, and hazardous materials
• Maintain and update EHS programs, including IIPP and OSHA-required documentation
• Coordinate with consultants on compliance programs (e.g., Hazardous Materials Business Plans, Risk Management Plans)
• Perform internal audits and prepare for external inspections
• Assist in identifying training needs and implementing safety training initiatives
• Maintain EHS data, analyze trends, and support corrective action implementation
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and coordinate emergency response protocols
• Serve as main contact for Workers’ Compensation case management and reporting
• Support the development and rollout of safety initiatives across sites
• Participate in EHS Community of Practice groups to share insights and best practices
• Coach others in the organization to build a stronger safety culture
