Straight Shooter Game Fencing is looking to add some enthusiastic, eager, team players to our growing team. We are looking to fill entry level labor positions with growth opportunities for future advancements in the company. Installing fence is not easy work so applicants must be able to perform physical labor, outdoors, in the elements. We do use modern equipment to make the job easier, but team members are still required to lift and carry products, dig holes, use hand tools, etc.

If you are interested in working outside, using tools and heavy equipment to create something from nothing this is an industry to try.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation of various types of fences and gates
• Dig holes for post installation using motorized hand drivers
• Stretch and install barb wire fencing
• Build and construct fence braces
• Remove existing fencing when required
• General construction labor duties as assigned
• Operate tractors and equipment (preferred but not required)

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical ability to perform manual labor
• Must be able to work with others and learn a trade
• Must be able to show up to work on time every day with reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous fence construction experience including but not limited to high-tensile game fence, barbed wire and agricultural fencing, residential fencing, etc.
• Experience operating tractors, skid steers and other heavy equipment
• Basic hand tool experience
• Background in construction and/or agricultural trades
