Location: 135 Forest Ave, Locust Valley, NY 11560 Reports to: Director of Marketing and Events Position type: Part time, hourly Salary Range: $20 $25/Hour Organizational Mission: Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club's mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens and community leaders of tomorrow. Position OverviewGrenville Baker Boys & Girls Club is seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Graphic Design & Marketing Associate. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of relevant experience or a two-year degree in graphic design or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is required, along with a strong understanding of branding and preparing files for print. Experience with social media content creation is essential. This role involves developing engaging visuals for both print and digital platforms.This is a part time, in-person position scheduled at 18 - 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.Please note: Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to support Club events and activities.What Youll Bring to GBBGCAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal teamsA creative mindset with a passion for producing fresh, engaging contentKey Responsibilities1. Social Media ManagementDevelop, schedule, and manage content across social media platformsCapture and edit photos and videos from the Club and events to create compelling digital content2. Marketing CollateralDesign printed materials such as flyers, brochures, signage, event invitations, and email graphicsEnsure all visual content aligns with GBBGCs brand identity and design standardsQualifications & RequirementsRequired:2+ years of experience in graphic design, marketing, or communications (nonprofit experience a plus)Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). This is not negotiable. Candidates must possess this knowledge.Strong written and visual communication skillsHands-on experience managing social media for a brand or organizationKeen attention to detail and commitment to brand consistencyPreferred:Experience with video editing software a plusExcellent organizational and project management skillsA passion for design, branding, and visual storytelling with a creative and solutions-oriented approach
