This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
· Schedule: 7on/7off (Tuesday – Monday); Call alternates every other day/night and lasts for 24 hours
· Total census per provider per shift: 10-22 Patients/Day
· Procedures required: Procedures not required. However, Hospitalists do need to read Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and do stress tests (preferred not required)
· Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
· Support: 2 Hospitalists that work at a time
· Certifications and License required: Board Eligible or Board Certified – Internal Medicine;
Active South Carolina Medical License;
Active Controlled Substance Registration (CSR),
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) that can be permanently registered in the state of South Carolina
· Credentialing timeframe: 60+ days
