Job Posting: Corporate Human Resources Manager

Location: Sharonville, OH / On-site

Company: Usui International Corporation (UIC)

As the Corporate Human Resources Manager , you will play a strategic leadership role in planning, developing, and administering human resource initiatives across our U.S. operations. This role provides direct support to UIC management and dotted-line leadership to our VA HR team, ensuring consistent, compliant, and people-first HR practices.

Policy & Compliance

  • Design, update, and administer HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure full compliance with Federal, State, and Local labor laws.
  • Serve as liaison with legal counsel regarding employee legal issues.

Employee & Management Support

  • Educate and advise managers on HR-related laws, interviewing techniques, compensation, and performance management.
  • Serve as a consultant to management on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support employee consulting and act as a trusted liaison for resolving issues.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll

  • Supervise payroll functions in OH and MI.
  • Manage benefits administration including open enrollment, 401(k), and insurance programs.
  • Conduct compensation surveys and manage annual review processes.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Oversee recruitment efforts, advertising, and cost-effective hiring strategies.
  • Design and update new hire packets and other employment documentation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Administer workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.
  • Maintain employee records, verifications, and file management.
  • Continually improve forms, processes, and systems across HR functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
