About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our field service team. In this hands-on leadership role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex equipment at customer sites, mentor junior technicians, and serve as the technical escalation point for challenging service issues. This position requires strong technical expertise combined with excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead complex service calls and system installations/start -ups, often as the sole technician on-site

· Act as the primary technical contact for key accounts and high-priority customers

· Accurately document service activities, parts usage, and customer interactions in the CRM/system of record

· Maintain company vehicle, tools, test equipment, and personal parts inventory to audit-ready standards

· Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies

· Participate in an on-call rotation (typically 1 week every 6–8 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on field service experience with years of experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems and water heaters.
• EPA certification.
• HVAC Apprentice License

· Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

· Proven ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

· Manufacturer-specific certifications or factory training

· Experience with Honeywell controls, thermostats, & York Equipment.

· Prior leadership or mentoring experience

· NATE certification
