Responsibilities Team Introduction IT team is committed to leveraging technology to provide employees with secure and reliable IT services, including network systems, security services, and computer hardware and software support. At the same time, we focus on building our product ecosystem and enhancing our R&D capabilities, aiming to establish innovative technologies that strengthen our IT service offerings both internally and externally. The Head of Information Technology (AMS) will lead the Americas IT organization in driving regional IT strategy, digital transformation & building out the reliable and robust IT infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for running the IT organization including IT service desk, service delivery management, asset management, service operations, and other critical IT related functions. This is a leadership role that will require extensive team management experience as well as experience in building reliable, scalable and secure systems to support our rapid business growth. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building out the robust regional IT infrastructure and promote a high performing service delivery culture providing excellent IT support and service solutions based on the clear understanding of ByteDance global IT strategy.
• Implement long term IT management strategy to ensure alignment with the regional IT development and sustainment goals; responsible for day to day IT management across system, network, desktop service, audio and video, information security, office construction, etc.
• Develop scalable roadmaps for the company's major IT projects and lead its execution to provide reliable systems, effective services and solutions that will meet with the business needs
• Build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the IT teams will be able to deliver required support and solutions across the company
• Responsible for hiring, managing and scaling the AMS IT teams, and continuously promoting excellent team work and improving service quality and delivery efficiency

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in team management and IT infrastructure or IT service-related fields
• Experience in project management and IT process optimization
• Ability to formulate and implement IT strategy, familiar with IT industry's best practices
• Strong Communication skills and proficient in data analytics

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
