Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our remote team in the Financial Services industry. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to support decision-making processes. This part-time position offers flexibility and an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large sets of data
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a remote team environment
Responsibilities:
- Collecting financial data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy and completeness
- Analyzing financial information using Excel or other data analysis tools
- Identifying trends or patterns within the collected data that could impact business decisions
- Preparing reports summarizing findings from data analysis for management review
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights based on analyzed data
- Assisting senior analysts with ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field preferred (or currently pursuing)
- Entry-level experience in a similar role is desirable but not required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
-Prior knowledge of the Financial Services industry is an advantage.
-Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is beneficial but not mandatory.
-Good communication skills both written and verbal.
