Aegis Worldwide is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team of technicians and support facility reliability, safety, and productivity. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership in industrial maintenance, particularly within food manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety initiatives by ensuring compliance with safe work practices, identifying improvements, and standardizing best practices.
• Partner with Food Safety, Quality, and Operations teams to maintain facilities and equipment in compliance with regulatory, audit, and sanitary design standards.
• Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring preventive maintenance, effective troubleshooting, and timely repairs.
• Conduct Root Cause and Failure Analysis (RCFA) to reduce downtime and support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Provide clear direction during non-routine maintenance events to minimize production interruptions.
• Support training and workforce development to ensure compliance with Safety, Food Safety, and HR requirements.
• Maintain time and attendance records for direct reports and coordinate with HR on disciplinary matters when needed.
• Assist in implementing TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to improve reliability and equipment uptime.
• Review and enhance preventive maintenance routines based on OEM recommendations and performance metrics.
• Coordinate maintenance and production activities to achieve productivity targets.
• Act as the primary contact for third-party sanitation teams.
• Manage work order systems to plan and track maintenance activities and costs.
• Assist with weekend projects and preventive maintenance involving internal teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience leading maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred).
• Strong background in supervising, planning, and scheduling maintenance personnel.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, steam, and hot water generation systems.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS and deploying maintenance strategies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
• High School Diploma or GED required; advanced training in industrial technology preferred.
• Ability to work in an on-call environment.
• Strong communication skills (English: speaking, reading, writing).
