Qualifications:

• Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS).
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with visual impairments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to develop individualized mobility plans.
• Proficiency in teaching mobility techniques and strategies.
• Familiarity with assistive technology related to orientation and mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students' orientation and mobility needs and establish individualized training plans.
• Conduct regular lessons to teach safe travel techniques and enhance mobility skills.
• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development.
