Hillandale Farms is in search of a Over the road Delivery Driver to join our team in CT Location's

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain DOT regulated driver logs daily as required either manually or electronically. Follow all DOT regulations at all times

• Transport product to and from all Hillandale Farms locations in CT as well as other states throughout the US . Transport other company's product to those destinations as required.
• Maintain all necessary paperwork for Delivery of product to customers.
• Once trained and certified you will have the ability to operate an electric jack to maneuver product safely. Unload product at customer locations and load returns, if applicable.
• On Direct Store Delivery (DSD) runs only: Repetitive pushing and pulling of full racks of eggs. Folding empty racks in trailers.
• Available to cover local farm transfers in CT as needed.
• Keep vehicle fueled, neat and clean at all times. Be safe and courteous driver at all times.

Qualifications

• CDL A Accreditation with current medical certificate.
• Minimum 6 months driving tractor trailer in city/residential areas.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move 40-60lbs. Position requires repetitive lifting, squatting, twisting, turning, kneeling and bending.
