Position Highlights:

• The Hospitalist Department consists of multiple hospitalists and is fully supported with a team of clinical & non-clinical staff as well as APCs
• 12 hour shifts
• 2 Weeks each month and one weekend rotation
• Moderate scheduling templates to promote Work and Life Balance
• Located just outside of NYC
• Focus on Quality instead of Quantity while delivering utmost care to patients
• Partner with other medical professionals while practicing with autonomy
• Practice at the peak of your license providing evidence-based medicine
• Patient Assessments, Formulating Care Plans, Finding Gaps in Care Delivery, Communicating and Teaching patients about personal Care Management
• Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health

Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care within the care team
• Treat chronic diseases and disorders
• Reviews patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status
• Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history
• Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition
• Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses condition of patient

Required Qualifications: 

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process 
• Board Certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start 

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $371,000 – $735,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
