The Role

Workplace Investing is looking for our next extraordinary Principal Front End Engineer to join our UI platform team.

You will partner with the members of your squad to deliver outstanding customer experiences and set the direction for front end engineering excellence within Workplace Investing. As a member of the team, you will architect, build, test, and design components, capabilities, tools, and products to enable digital squads (including contributing to the maturity of WI's monorepos). You will provide guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise within your existing squad and across squads within the wider Digital Platforms Technology organization.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 6+ years hands on experience as front-end software engineer using modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular.\u00A0
• 1+ years of using Nx workspace and strong familiarity with monorepos\u00A0
• Technical leadership, experience preparing design artifacts, and implementing solutions for agile teams.\u00A0
• Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions\u00A0
• A long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions\u00A0
• Learn quickly, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast-paced and evolving environment\u00A0
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop technology associates\u00A0
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills\u00A0
