IT Project Manager (3-5 Years Experience)

About the Role:

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans, including detailed tasks, resource requirements, and timelines.
• Effectively manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating to stakeholders as necessary.
• Coordinate and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned to improve future project performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing IT projects.
• Proven experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Problem-solving aptitude with a strong attention to detail.
• PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a strong asset.
