Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner provides assessment, therapy implementation, and evaluation of patients' respiratory status under physician direction in a hospital setting. This role requires respiratory therapy licensure, extensive experience, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care. Description

Under supervision the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at Providence Centralia Hospital as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. Assesses, analyzes, customizes, coordinates and communicates the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Or Must have CRT + 10 years of experience OR RRT + 3 years of experience
  • Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years Must have 3 years experience plus RRT OR Min. 10 years experience and CRT

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: Provider PALS - American Heart Association
