Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Care Flavorist to join our dynamic and innovative team. This role is integral to the development and enhancement of flavors for our oral care products, including toothpaste, floss, and rinses. The ideal candidate will be a fully trained flavorist with a strong background in oral care and mint flavor development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and create new flavors for oral care products.
• Modify existing flavors to meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Research, Process and Formulation, and Global Product Stewardship.
• Address and resolve any flavor-related issues that arise during production.
• Participate in the overhaul and redesign of our oral care flavor portfolio.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and testing of flavors in various product bases.
• Maintain close communication with internal and external partners to ensure project success.

Ideal Candidate Expectations:

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to align on project goals and timelines.
• Engage in flavor creation and modification processes, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct sensory evaluations, including smelling and tasting different materials.
• Address any unexpected issues such as plant or production problems related to flavors.
• Participate in strategy setting for formulation and problem-solving.
• Work closely with external flavor companies for co-development and sourcing of chemicals.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule, typically being in the office four days a week with one floating work-from-home day based on business needs.
