TITLE : Senior Software Engineer
Location : 560 Mission Street, 13th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105. Telecommuting permissible from any location within US.
Salary : $180,960 - $200,400/year; 40 hours/week
Partner with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Engineering peers to define, analyze, and estimate efforts for delivering scalable solutions to meet business requirements. Assist in structuring the COE processes around intake, governance, etc., under the guidance of a development manager. Develop RPA using UiPath, establish best practices, roadmaps, reusable components, and governance, while mentoring newer developers. Collaborate with business and technical SMEs to define automations, business rules, and exceptions.
Perform feasibility analysis, architecture design, process design, solutions development, testing, deployment, and support for various RPA use cases. Manage product/platform upgrades, license/capacity planning, third-party integrations, and evolve the UiPath tech ecosystem by adding new components based on industry trends and organizational needs. Support production platform and deployments of UiPath. Work closely with business systems analysts to vet design decisions. Create and update user stories with current information and status.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to requirements and standards. Estimate development efforts, guide timelines, and identify risks. Contribute to and author technical design documents (TDD) and process design documents (PDD). Develop reusable automation components ensuring consistency across use cases. Automate processes across web, desktop, Citrix, and cloud applications. Architect scalable, efficient RPA workflows following best practices and standards. Integrate RPA solutions with existing systems via APIs, databases, etc. Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality. Implement bot throughput logging, auditing, and exception handling. Support UAT with business and IT teams. Telecommuting is permissible from any US location.
Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field, with four (4) years of experience in Robotic Process Automation or related roles.
The national base pay range is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on candidates KSAs, experience, education, certifications, and other factors. Pay Grade 22. $180,960 - $200,400
