Salary: $16 - $20/hr. plus commission

DMG Worldwide Inc. is an accounting firm We are currently seeking a highly motivated tax preparer to join our team. This is a seasonal position with the possibly of becoming full-time.

DMG Worldwide is an Accounting firm that specializes in helping Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs with their Accounting and cash flow management needs. DMG provides accounting and tax, tax resolution, outsourced CFO, and advisory services. 

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:

The Tax Professional will have a minimum of 3 years’ corporate & individual tax experience. The Tax Preparer will have a strong working knowledge of tax compliance and tax law. The tax preparer will be working with our tax team to prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns and well as meeting with our clients advising them on tax compliance and strategy.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps
• Meet and advise clients on tax compliance and savings strategies.
• Stay current on the latest regulatory tax laws and technology.
• Ability to follow company workflow processes and procedures.
  

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Enrolled Agent License a plus
• At least 3 years’ experience with corporate & personal tax preparation
• Bonus if you currently have a book of business
• Can pass background check and basic tax preparation test
• Experience within Tax, Accounting or CPA firm preferable.
• Skills in tax compliance & research.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently on assignments, and enjoy interfacing with clients.
• Possess adequate verbal and written communication skills with solid organizational skills.
• Knowledge of MS 365 suite, Pro-Series Tax (strongly recommended not a must)
• Have valid PTIN
• Ability to work under pressure with high volume tax clients.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $16 - $20/hr.
• Performance-based commission & bonus plan.
