Job Details

• Position: Central Sterile Technician
• Job Location: Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital, Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
• Hospital System: Mass General Brigham
• Employment Type: Long Term Assignment (LTA)
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• CST Certification (NBSTA or NCCT) required for Massachusetts locations, preferred for New Hampshire (WDH)
• Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
• MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
• Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
• Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break, or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break
• Physician Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• 2 recent references, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in skillset
• MGB Skills Checklist required for submission
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions
• MGB Education Verification through background check company
• MGB SSN Trace with addresses/aliases for past 7 years
• MGB National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually
• MGB Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and annually
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation if fit test is required for skill

• Monday through Friday

Additional Details

• Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred or proof of immunity or declination
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions or waivers
• Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years and updated upon expiration
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
• MGB TB Symptom Survey required if positive PPD, updated annually
