Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling and has the technical skills to create compelling, high-quality video content across various platforms. You will work with a small team to edit and produce video content for social media, websites, and more.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit raw video footage into polished, professional videos that align with the brand’s vision and objectives.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals, concepts, and deliverables.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and other elements to enhance video content.
• Apply color correction, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
• Manage video projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to maximize engagement.
• Stay up-to-date with video editing trends, software, and industry best practices.
• Organize and maintain video assets, including backups of final projects and raw footage.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: • Proven experience as a video editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and the like.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in video production.
• Experience with motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with different video formats and delivery requirements for social media and digital platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to take creative direction.
