Verify product details, quantities, and quality prior to packing to guarantee customer satisfaction. Product Packaging: Securely and appropriately pack merchandise using materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts. Label packages accurately with shipping information, barcodes, and tracking numbers. Ensure packages are properly sealed to avoid damage during transit. Quality Control: Inspect merchandise for defects, damages, or discrepancies prior to packing, reporting any issues to supervisors. Adhere to quality control procedures to uphold high standards of product quality. Handle delicate items with care to prevent breakage or damage during packing and shipping. Inventory Management: Update inventory records in the warehouse management system for items picked and packed for shipment. Communicate any inventory discrepancies or shortages to supervisors promptly. Assist with regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accurate inventory levels. Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. Safely operate picking equipment and machinery. Follow company policies regarding workplace safety, security, and regulatory compliance. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow associates to meet daily picking and packing targets. Effectively communicate with supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues for efficient workflow. Qualifications: Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent. Advantageous: Previous experience in warehouse operations, order picking, or packing. Desirable: Familiarity with handheld devices and warehouse management systems. Physical capability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work. Organizational and time management skills.
