Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mig Welder to join their team. As a Mig Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and excellent teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Shawnee, OK

Pay Range: $22.50 per hour

What's the Job?

• Carry out welding duties according to set dimensions.
• Properly use rulers, calipers, and straight edges to measure components.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Work within and promote a team atmosphere among co-workers.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.

What's Needed?

• Certified Welder or 2 years of experience with the ability to pass an onsite welding test.
• Willingness to participate in internal training as needed.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, and reach overhead as required.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills to inform supervisors of any issues or quality defects.
