Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to: Effectively and efficiently decontaminate clean sterilize and reprocess patient equipment surgical instruments and medical supplies in support of all hospital areas. Display a widerange knowledge of everchanging instrumentation equipment and techniques. Work in a fastpaced environment that requires detailed technical skills. Have a role in keeping our patients safe and know that you are contributing to our remarkable patient care. Interact with cutting edge surgical instrumentation and reprocessing equipment. Be a member of a cohesive team assisting and supporting each other. Minimum Requirements:q Facility Requirement: o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in travelers profile including resume Medefis profile onboarding documents). Experience: o High School Diploma or equivalent o 2 years experience in reprocessing o Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 Trauma center or similar size hospital. o Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks). Licensure and Certification: o Traveler must have Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician. Reference o Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Location: University Hospital 600 Highland Ave Madison WI 53792 Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation.
