POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting into the second line Risk Division, the Business Continuity Coordinator (BCC) engages management to maintain Provident’s Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program, which consists of policies, plans, and procedures that adhere to industry standards and practices. The BCC works closely with Information Technology and Information Security in their responsibilities to aid the Bank in the technical recovery from a disaster, along with participating in Provident’s corporate incident response program. The BCC’s goal is to synchronize Provident’s recovery expectations with the Bank’s overall business objectives and priorities to effectively ensure operational resiliency within Provident’s critical business operations. The BCC should have a strong background in risk management with experience in performing business impact assessments, crisis management, and regulatory compliance, and should be adept at communicating with executive management, the Board of Directors, and regulatory agencies.
