Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Sitework Foreman with a proven track record in managing large-scale civil and site development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that the project meets quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily site operations for multiple civil sitework projects, including grading, excavation, utilities, paving, and drainage systems.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and labor crews, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Maintain and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and resolve any concerns.
  • Ensure proper documentation of daily activities, site conditions, and any changes to the scope of work.
  • Review subcontractor performance, resolve issues, and manage subcontractor relations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical, logistical, or operational challenges on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil sitework construction, with at least 5 years in a Senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of sitework construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Experience in managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including grading, utilities, paving, and drainage.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and ensure effective communication among all parties involved.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work outdoors and inspect job sites in various weather conditions.

Working Conditions :

  • Full-time position with some flexibility required for evening or weekend work, depending on project deadlines.
  • Travel to multiple job sites will be required.
