About Us: Equanimity Integrated Behavioral Health and Wellness LLC (EquanimityIBHW) is a compassionate and forward-thinking outpatient mental health clinic in Baltimore, MD. We offer comprehensive behavioral health services and are dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for diverse populations. We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team on a part-time, fee-for-service basis.
Position Overview: As a Contract Nurse Practitioner at EquanimityIBHW, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan. This role offers flexibility, including the option to provide telehealth services via Doxy.Me or work in-person at our Baltimore location. We are specifically seeking candidates available for afternoon and evening hours. In addition to psychiatric evaluations and medication management, you may also provide therapy services based on your scope of practice and licensure. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care in a supportive and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.
· Prescribe medication and provide medication management.
· Provide therapy to individuals as part of treatment, when applicable.
· Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers as part of the treatment team.
· Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
· Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
· Provide telehealth and/or in-person consultations based on client needs and preferences.
· Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and available treatments.
Preferred Hours:
· Afternoon and evening hours are preferred to meet client needs.
Qualifications:
· Active PMHNP-BC licensure in the state of Maryland (or eligibility for Maryland licensure).
· At least 2 years of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health, preferred.
· Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
· Proficiency in using telehealth platforms
Compensation:
· $80 per hour
· Flexible scheduling with the option to work remotely or in-person. 1-2 weekends per month.
