This is considered a temporary assignment. Schedule is based on student needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Prefer valid Indiana teaching license for appropriate level and a minimum of three years teaching or tutoring experience. Must be able to transport self to various locations within the greater Fort Wayne area.

HOURLY RATE:

• Valid Indiana Teaching license = $30.00 per hour
• Non-Licensed = $20.00 per hour.

BASIC FUNCTION:


Provide tutoring services to Title lll Non-Public students in English language development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Identify Title III Non-Public students under the guidance of the Local Education Authority (LEA) using criteria outlined in the rules and regulations covering Title III.
• Collaborate with teachers of Title III Non-public students to align English language development instruction with general education curriculum.
• Tutor Title lll Non-public students in the area of English language development. Both individually and in small groups in an area outside of the classroom setting; monitor student progress.
• Regularly consult with LEA regarding Title III services for the Non-public site(s).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear.


The employee is required to have dexterity of hands and fingers. The employee is required to sit


or stand for extended periods of time. They may be occasionally required to bend at the waist, kneel or


crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing th
