LHH is working with a client in Albany, NY who is looking for an HR Manager. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. They will also help support business office operations such as budgeting, payroll, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Ability to handle benefits, recruiting, retention and attrition engagement, and ensuring legality and compliance.
• Support the leaders of nursing, dietary, maintenance, etc that are needing HR support
• Skills in compliance, employee relations, organizational effectiveness.
• Working closely with local executives on daily operations.
• Workforce planning, onboarding, coaching and training, performance management.
• Willingness to support payroll, financial needs, budgeting, billing, and documentation therein.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
