About the Role

The Motion Graphic and Video Artist is a vital creative professional tasked with designing and producing visually stunning motion graphics and video content to support channels digital presence and marketing objectives. Reporting directly to the Creative Services Manager, this role involves crafting dynamic visual assets for various platforms, such as social media, websites, presentations, and promotional campaigns. The artist will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to translate concepts into engaging, on-brand visuals that captivate target audiences. This position demands a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and a meticulous eye for detail to deliver high-quality content that enhances the channels storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in developing captivating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using tools like Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or equivalent software.
  • Proficiency in editing video content, including cutting, transitions, color grading, and sound integration, using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • A strong command of typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy to create aesthetically cohesive and brand-aligned content.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the Creative Services Manager, marketing team, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  • Capability to juggle multiple projects concurrently, from initial concept through to final delivery, while adhering to timelines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Willingness and ability to adopt new tools and techniques to keep pace with evolving industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, Visual Arts, or a closely related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in motion graphics, video production, or a comparable role, preferably within a creative agency, in-house creative team, or digital marketing environment.
  • While not required, familiarity with sectors such as commercial bathware, construction, or home improvement is considered an advantage.
  • Advanced skills in industry-standard software and a solid grasp of design principles, animation techniques, and video editing workflows.

  • Project Execution: Demonstrated experience managing projects from start to finish, including storyboarding, animating, editing, and delivering polished final assets.
  • Collaborative Projects: A proven ability to thrive in team settings, accepting creative guidance while contributing valuable insights to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Platform-Specific Content: Experience producing content optimized for specific digital platforms, maximizing engagement and performance.
  • Trend Awareness: A history of staying informed about the latest developments in motion graphics, video production, and digital design, and incorporating these trends into projects.
