As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Officer in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location, remaining alert to unusual or suspicious activity.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to support incident response at the location.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence while carrying assigned equipment in accordance with site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
