Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (HYMH), a global manufacturer of industrial forklift trucks, is currently accepting applications for the **Summer 2026 Internship** **P** **rogram** . This internship is designed for _law_ students who are eager to gain practical legal experience and contribute to meaningful projects within our organization. We're looking for applicants with strong analytical and research skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The internship is based at our America's Division Headquarters (AHQ) in **Greenville, NC** .
What you could do:
+ Support legal operations initiatives, including implementation and optimization of contract management software
+ Assist in reviewing and organizing contracts to ensure compliance and consistency
+ Collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams on process improvements and documentation
+ Contribute to the development of internal resources and tools to streamline legal workflows
What you will need:
+ First-year law student or undergraduate demonstrating a keen interest in pursuing legal studies
+ Proven proficiency in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
+ Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
+ Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
+ Drive to learn
What you will participate in:
Alongside hands-on experience in their specific functional areas, interns are required to complete roughly 20 program hours. This involves participation in:
+ **Professional Development Courses** : Interns will have access to a wide variety of training videos and courses, with encouragement to complete modules that support their growth.
+ **Career Coaching Sessions** : Interns can connect one-on-one with members of the HYMH Talent Acquisition team for personalized career coaching and guidance.
+ **Business Acumen Sessions** :A series of sessions focused on building company knowledge and supporting personal and professional development.
+ **Networking Events** : Opportunities to connect with fellow interns and company leadership through both in-person and virtual events.
+ **Site Tours** : Interns will have the chance to tour different company locations to broaden their understanding of the business and explore potential career paths.
+ **Final Experience Presentation** : At the end of the program, interns will present their experience to peers and leaders across the Americas division, providing valuable exposure and reflection.
